I literally stumbled on this while working with hot glue over 20 years ago at a previous job.
Take off hot glue from concrete wall.
Immediately after ironing remove the newspapers and use a long handled scraper to get rid of the glue residue.
Hot glue is a highly effective adhesive that creates a lasting bond within one minute of drying to a surface.
It ended up being a major discovery.
If the residue cools down and becomes tough replace the newspaper and iron the area again.
Hold a brown paper bag or an towel over the glue.
You don t want to push the glue further into the wall you only want to melt it.
For working on concrete floors you can also try a long handle razor blade scraper.
Pour the mixture on the concrete glue and allow it to sit for about three minutes.
Place the scraper on the ground making sure the trailing edge is facing up and push it into the glue.
In order to make the scrubbing more effective mix one gallon of hot water with one cup of ammonia and a tablespoon of liquid detergent in a container.
Scrub the concrete with the scouring pad until all the glue is removed.
Try just hot water first working it into the glue and washing it away.
Just put the iron on the low setting no steam and be sure to keep moving it around so it doesn t scorch one area.
Rub a warm iron over it.
Boiling water can soften the glue.
It is administered with a hot glue gun and is rather simple to manage when freshly applied.
Only press gently too.
Easily remove dried hot glue aka hot melt.
Begin by physically removing the hardened glue with a putty knife or similar dull edge.
Hot glue can however be somewhat difficult to remove once it has hardened.
Scrape the glue while it is hot.
